It’s ALL theater: There is no “impeachment inquiry” and Dems haven’t sent subpoenas to anyone in the Trump administration… the media is lying (again)

Democrats and their sycophantic allies in the Washington media are once again staging political theater in an attempt to convince more Americans that President Trump committed an impeachable offense during a phone call with the Ukrainian president earlier this summer.

If you listen to the Dems and the media, they say Trump asked President Zelensky for “dirt” on former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden regarding a business deal involving the latter, and that Trump threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine if he didn’t cooperate.

In fact, Joe Biden did what they are accusing Trump of doing: Threatening, in 2015, to withhold a billion dollars in aid from Ukraine unless that government fired a prosector who was looking into corruption involving a company that was paying Hunter Biden 50 grand a month to be an ‘adviser.’

But hey, you don’t have to believe us; believe Joe Biden. He admitted what he did, on behalf of then-President Obama, on video.

However, since the “Russian collusion” hoax failed to remove President Trump from office, now the Democrat Left, their media allies, and the deep state have invented another fake scandal: “Ukrainegate.” Only, as before, the president hasn’t done anything wrong and certainly nothing “impeachable.”

Yet, the political theater continues because the show must go on: Trump must be removed from office, one way or another.

So last week we were treated to a number of reports regarding ‘dire developments’ in the Ukrainegate non-scandal, including reports that Trump’s Cabinet members were being served with subpoenas from the House to testify on behalf the ‘ongoing impeachment inquiry.’

Both of those claims are out-and-out lies. 

Recall that on Sept. 24, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi held a much-hyped press conference to announce “in the gravest of tones, that she was moving forward with an official impeachment inquiry in the Democrat-controlled lower chamber over President Donald Trump’s request that Ukraine investigate the activities of Joe and Hunter Biden in that country during the Obama presidency and his supposed refusal to turn over a whistleblower report about that request,” the Western Journal reported.

Nothing about Democrats and their media is real

While Pelosi’s carefully-staged presser sure made it look like the Democrats in the House just had no choice but to ‘hold Trump accountable,’ she was lying about what was actually taking place, as noted by former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy. “There is no impeachment inquiry. There are no subpoenas,” McCarthy wrote in The Hill last week.

He acknowledged that it is understandable for Americans to think that Pelosi was directing the House to begin a formal impeachment inquiry. Further, that faulty impression “is completely understandable if you have been taking in media coverage — in particular, reporting on the haughty Sept. 27 letter from House Democrats, presuming to direct Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, on pain of citation for obstruction, to cooperate in their demands to depose State Department officials and review various records.”

That letter was summarily dismissed by Pompeo for what it was — merely a request for cooperation, since there is no official impeachment inquiry (Pompeo used to be a U.S. representative so he knows how impeachment is supposed to work). 

There hasn’t been a formal vote in the House Judiciary Committee, where a majority of members would have to actually approve and call for an impeachment inquiry, despite what Democrats say and despite what their lying media sycophants have reported. 

It’s as much a charade as the claim that Trump blackmailed the Ukrainian government into forcing them to give him ‘dirt’ on Joe and Hunter Biden.

There is little that is real about the Democrat Party, their media sycophants, or the deep state when it comes to their dealings with, and accusations against, President Trump.
