The mainstream media has wasted no time in launching their slanderous attack against a group of students from Covington Catholic High School, claiming that the students were racist towards minorities at a recent March for Life event. But as we now know, CNN’s version of what happened was entirely fraudulent.
The group of angry Native Americans were the ones shouting racist epithets — and not the students. Once again, the mainstream media has proven that their priority is promoting left-wing ideologies at any cost — even if it means they have to lie and defame innocent children.
Now, famous cartoonist and political commentator Scott Adams has issued an apology for buying into CNN’s version of events — and even admitted the “story” about Covington Catholic is nothing more than “fake news.”
As Breitbart reports, a viral video clip of a student in a MAGA hat “smirking” at a Native American man beating a drum quickly became the subject of mass criticism and scorn, as liberal media pundits shamed Trump supporters as unapologetic racists.
As it so often turns out, that viral video clip didn’t show the whole story. It was a short clip, edited and then used to portray a very different story — a story that aligns with the left-wing’s anti-white, anti-Trump narrative, fit for use as propaganda.
However, video evidence from the event shows the truth: The students were approached and harassed — not the other way around.
The Native American man beating the drum is identified by news sources as Nathan Phillips. Phillips claims that the Covington students were “beastly” in their treatment of minorities at March for Life, and made other outrageous claims the students have disputed.
One student wrote to a local paper, begging for their side of the story to be shared. According to the student, when Phillips’ group first approached them, as though they were joining in a friendly cultural display. The student reportedly wrote further:
“It was not until later that we discovered they would incriminate us as a publicity stunt. … To reiterate, we did not partake in any physical or verbal abuse … After that initial occurrence, we were then verbally assaulted by four or five African-American men who called us “faggots” and berated one of our African-American students for being friends with us. The truth needs to come out. I pray that you read this …
Video evidence also shows some of the men shouting that white people need to go back to Europe, along with other racial slurs aimed at whites.
Though the story is now known to be false, the students at Covington Catholic continue to suffer. The school was forced to remained closed on Jan. 22 due to safety concerns.
Reports indicate that the school and students were faced with “threats of actual violence” that are now being investigated. The left-wing media is hardly making any sort of effort to correct their egregious mistake, and should be held legally accountable for any harm that comes to these innocent young students as a result of the media’s careless, callous and unscrupulous behavior.
The liberal media has fooled many people into wrongly assuming that anyone who is a conservative or supports President Trump is an evil racist, but their web of lies is slowly starting to come undone. Scott Adams, famed cartoonist and pundit, has even issued an apology for erroneously buying into the mainstream media’s propaganda.

This incident should be a serious wake-up call to the mainstream media and everyone who reads it. The media’s refusal to report the truth is now directly putting innocent lives in danger, and they should honestly be ashamed of themselves. But that would require having a conscience.
